These traditionally dressed Chin dolls are handmade by Noe thee from Chin Womens organisation (CWG) on the Thai-Burma border.

Each doll is dressed in traditional Chin hand loomed textile, each with its very own personality and story tag.

Chin Women Group (CWG) began in 2007 as an income-generation program to help Chin women in Burma. There are many jobless Chin women in Burma and although though some of them have skills in traditional weaving and embroidery it is difficult to sell. So CWG helps by supporting their weaving practice so that they may be able to provide medical care and schooling for their families whilst also giving them some confidence for their life.

We highly recommend these dolls for all ages.
