These bold, funky shoulder bags are great for carrying folders, drink bottles and all your daily gear! Each bag zips closed and features an inside zip pocket and reinforced bag base. They are interfaced and lined throughout and beautifully finished.

These bags are made Kachin Women’s Association Thailand (KWAT). Many Kachin people, mainly young men and women, have fled to foreign countries such as Thailand due to the political, economic and social situation in Kachin State. Recognizing the urgent need for women to organize themselves to solve their own problems, KWAT was formed in 1999 to develop the skills of women, promote children's and women's rights and empower women to be more involved in leadership positions. The Ah Toi bag was originally designed as a collaboration between Nang Zin, and Emma from Weftshop during a workshop in Chang Mai. It was named after Ahtoi who runs KWAT’s Income generation programme.
